"Executive function tutoring in its simplest form is about sequencing—coaching our students about where to start tasks and how to complete them."

Executive Function Tutoring & Academic Tutoring – Diversified Education Services
Founder, CEO & Head Executive Functioning Coach
At Diversified Education Services, we don’t believe in lazy—because “lazy” is a four-letter word. It’s an excuse, not a diagnosis. Too often, bright students and overwhelmed adults are labeled unmotivated when what they really lack is structure, strategy, and someone who believes in them. That’s where Aron Boxer comes in.
As the CEO, Founder, and Head Executive Functioning Coach of Diversified Education Services (DES), Aron leads a team of over 40 executive functioning coaches, learning specialists, and academic tutors. Since 2009, DES has delivered high-impact academic and organizational support for students and adults across Fairfield County, Westchester, and beyond.
With over 15 years of experience in special education, a master’s degree, and certification in learning disabilities, Aron has developed a holistic, relationship-based methodology focused on long-term academic and personal growth. He also brings a wealth of experience from his decade-long career as a special education teacher in Greenwich Public Schools and as the Director of Special Services at a private school in Greenwich.
Currently, Aron maintains a full caseload of students in grades 1 through college, as well as adult clients. In addition to managing DES’s day-to-day operations, he continues to provide direct executive function coaching—helping clients master time management, task initiation, and sustained attention.
Aron’s team also includes specialists in higher-level academics, including AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP Physics, and college-level math and science. DES also offers comprehensive support for private school admissions testing such as the ISEE and SSAT. All staff hold advanced degrees or certifications in special education and excel at building the kind of interpersonal relationships that drive real progress.
Fueled by a student-centered mindset, Aron’s passion is deeply rooted in his own journey. From delivering newspapers at age 10 to working in restaurants and financial services, he knows firsthand what grit and follow-through mean. The 2008 economic crisis became a turning point, leading him into education and eventually to graduate school. After more than seven years in the public school system and two in a private school leadership role, he founded DES to create the kind of individualized, high-impact support he knew was missing.
“I’ve been called a coach, teacher, mentor, and advocate—but at the core of everything I do is a commitment to helping people build meaningful habits that change their lives,” Aron says. “I don’t sugarcoat. I don’t overpromise. And I don’t believe in lazy.”
In addition to working with students, Aron consults, advises, and trains adults through DES’s life coaching program—bringing the profound benefits of executive functioning instruction to professionals, parents, and anyone striving for upward mobility.
As of March 2025, Aron serves on the Greenwich Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC), where he advocates fiercely for children with disabilities and holds institutions accountable to the rights guaranteed by IDEA and the ADA. “Delay and deny,” he says, “is the go-to tactic for those holding the purse strings. Advocacy is how we fight back.”
Aron is engaged to be married in November 2025. He and his fiancée share two poodle-mix dogs, Brody and Lola, and are raising her two children—one with special needs and the other with ADHD. He lives the mission he teaches, and brings that authenticity to every family he supports.
