Florida Executive Function Coaching

Student writing at a bright table with palms and water outside - Florida executive function coaching from DES
Florida executive function coaching from Diversified Education Services has provided executive function coaching since 2009 and brings that experience to South Florida. Our team of experienced teacher-coaches provides in-person and virtual coaching for K-12 students, and virtual coaching for college students and adults, throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties and across Florida, anchored by our Boca Raton practice.

Where We Coach in South Florida

Florida executive function coaching is available in person for K-12 students in Palm Beach County, and virtually statewide for students, college students, and adults.

Executive Function Coaching for Florida Students

From IB and AICE coursework to AP-heavy honors schedules, and the demands of independent schools like Saint Andrew’s and Pine Crest, South Florida students carry serious workloads across multiple online platforms. Executive function coaching builds the skills those workloads demand: organization, time management, planning and prioritization, task initiation, study strategies, and self-advocacy. Coaches work alongside each student, with the student’s real materials, building scaffolding designed to come down as independence grows. Families who also need subject support can pair coaching with academic tutoring; we also support college students and adults.

Life Skills Coaching for Neurodivergent Adults in South Florida

DES also coaches neurodivergent adults in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, including adults with ADHD and autism, on the practical skills of daily life: routines, appointments, money and household tasks, getting to work or class on time, and social situations. Sessions can take place in the community, where the skills are actually used, or virtually. The work is practical and structured: a weekly plan built around the adult’s real responsibilities, help getting started, and accountability between sessions. Families and adults can learn more on our adult executive function coaching page.

The Academic Environments We Know

Our South Florida coaches work with students from the region’s most demanding independent schools: The Benjamin School, Oxbridge Academy, Saint Andrew’s School, Pine Crest, American Heritage, North Broward Preparatory, and Palm Beach Day Academy among them. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any school; names are referenced to reflect the academic environments where many of our students learn. CHADD’s parent resource library covers executive function in the ADHD context in depth.

Built for South Florida’s Academic Calendar

Florida executive function coaching runs on South Florida’s rhythm, not a northern template. Our coaches know the IB and AICE workloads that define the region’s most demanding programs, the January-admissions cycle at the independent schools, and the reality that many of our families split the year between here and the Northeast. Because DES coaches across all three regions, a snowbird family keeps one coach year-round, the same person, the same systems, whether the semester is happening in Boca Raton or back up north. And when a student graduates into college, the coaching moves with them virtually, which is exactly when executive function demands spike hardest.
