Teach the skills that outlast the session.
Diversified Education Services hires certified teachers — especially special educators — to coach executive function skills and tutor one-on-one in students’ homes across Connecticut, New York, and South Florida.
$80–$100 per hour · Part-time · Flexible schedule
Real coaching, not curriculum delivery.
You work one-on-one, in the student’s actual environment, building the study skills, organization, and time management systems that fit their real life. No scripts, no center schedule — your judgment as an educator is the product.
Founded in 2009 by a former special education teacher and administrator, DES has grown to a team of 50+ across the Northeast and South Florida while staying relationship-driven and in-home first. Most of our students have verbal or non-verbal learning disabilities and/or ADHD — classroom expertise translates directly.
- $80–$100/hour — compensation that exceeds industry standards
- Full autonomy — you control your schedule and instructional methods
- No restrictions on outside work — keep your own clients and commitments
- Referral program — get paid for bringing great educators to the team
- Est. 2009 — 17 years serving families in CT, NY, and FL

Independent contracting, clearly stated.
Tutors and coaches join DES as independent contractors, not employees. That means full control over your scheduling and instructional methods, responsibility for your own taxes, and no restrictions on outside work — you’re free to keep your own clients or other employment alongside your DES caseload.
We match you with families in the towns you choose, and compensation reflects our commitment to hiring top-tier professionals who build strong connections with students.
